Douglas County, WI is seeking a Maintenance Worker to operate a range of heavy equipment for road maintenance and snow plowing. The role includes on-call winter duties and seasonal shifts, with pay increases after licensure and testing.

Training to obtain a CDL is provided within three months of hire. Full‑time position based on a 40-hour week with a wage scale from $22.92 to $24.73 per hour, reflective of a 2026 salary grade.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL within three months of hire.
