Douglas County is seeking a Maintenance Worker to operate a range of heavy equipment for highway construction and maintenance. Training will be provided to obtain a Class A CDL within three months, after which licensure and testing advance duties and pay.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Must have valid driver’s license; shall obtain a Class A CDL within three months of hire.
• Ability to work in extreme weather and be on call 24/7 during winter snow operations.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain equipment such as trucks, dozers, rollers, graders, and excavators.
• Plowing, clearing, and sanding of county plow routes.
• Maintain time and attendance, equipment usage, and material usage records.
