Job summary

The Oregon Department of Transportation in Roseburg is seeking a Transportation Maintenance Coordinator to lead field crews and coordinate highway maintenance activities.

You will plan, prioritize and schedule work, monitor materials and equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency while supporting the maintenance manager. CDL-A required; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance or construction experience in roadway, highway, bridge, sign, or related fields.
• CDL-A with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver license with clean record; able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, schedule and assign work across day and night shifts.
• Ensure crews have materials and equipment for projects; support safety and efficiency.
• Review time records and approve leave; assist with budgeting and planning.
• Patrol highways for hazards and respond to emergencies as needed.
