Responsibilities

• Perform road construction and maintain highways and surrounding terrain with heavy equipment safely.
• Remove snow and ice from roads and bridges.
• Prepare equipment for snow removal; install chains and load sanding materials.
• Know functions and limits of each equipment piece.
• Maintain bridges and access areas; inspect and replace structural members.
• Keep all equipment in safe, orderly condition.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow all County policies and procedures.
