Job summary

Tulsa County is seeking an Organization Maintenance Crew D3 to operate heavy construction equipment for road and bridge projects. A valid Oklahoma Class B CDL and high school graduation or equivalent, plus several years of equipment operation experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to graduation from a standard four year high school and over three years in heavy equipment operation on highways/bridges.
• Valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment and trucks; perform preventative maintenance and pre-checks.
• Inform supervisor of repair needs or perform field repairs as required.
• May train on higher/lower classified equipment and perform related labor duties as part of road/bridge crew.
