Job summary

TPD is currently hiring Engineers at all levels for the Access Design team in the United States. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, willingness to work cohesively within a team, and the ability to work on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT, FE, or PE not required, but preferred.
• Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP) related design projects.
• Works with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, highway design, traffic signal design, signing and pavement marking plans, MPT plans, and drainage design plans/reports.
• Assisting in outside contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
• Assisting in the preparation or modification of reports, plans, specifications, construction cost estimates, and construction schedules for projects.
