Job summary

Strong desire to learn, work cohesively in a team, and participate in business development and marketing events is expected; salary ranges based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 9-15 years of highway design/project management experience.
• NJ Professional Engineer license.
• Experience with NJDOT and county projects preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and mentor staff.
• Experience with proposals and marketing events.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead for highway-oriented projects
• Mentor junior Highway Design Department staff
• Perform Business Development activities including attending professional society events
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Assist with Quality Control/Quality Assurance Reviews

Job Requirements

• 9-15 years of experience

• NJ PE License

• Previous experience with NJDOT is preferred

• Experience working on County Projects, DRPA and DRJTBC is a bonus

• Served as a Highway Task Leader or Lead Designer
• Participated in preparation of technical and price proposals

• Willing to attend marketing events

• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid Driver’s License

Pay Range: $115,000 - $165,000(depending on qualifications)
