Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway Engineer to join our transportation team in Cincinnati, OH. You will contribute to roadway design, project management, and client coordination across moderate to large projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in roadway engineering design across projects.
• Professional engineer license required (PE).
• Proficiency with highways CAD tools: OpenRoads, ConceptStation, InfraWorks, Civil 3D.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with urban/rural interchanges, traffic management, and planning.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Work as a key member of a highway/roadway design team.
• Prepare roadway design work using standards.
• Assist in managing larger projects and budgets.
• Manage day-to-day communication with team and client.
• Write reports and coordinate with subconsultants.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Perform other duties as needed.
