Responsibilities

• Perform inspection duties on highway construction projects
• Preliminary surveying, construction surveying and ROW staking
• Sampling and testing of construction materials
• Documentation of contractor’s daily highway construction work
• Learn to read and interpret plans effectively
• Obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) during training
• Operate snow removal equipment as needed
• Work varying hours outdoors on highway projects
