Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• FE/PE licensure within the first year of employment preferred.
• Prior construction contract administration experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to travel within a 60 mile radius of Rapid City as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform project design work and develop plans.
• Test and sample materials (cement, asphalt, gravel, soil).
• Inspect roadways, paving, and structures (bridges, culverts).
• Conduct field surveys and inspect traffic controls in work zones.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and managers.
• Plan, assign, and supervise work; communicate with public and agencies.
