Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Project Engineer for a major multiyear interstate widening project in the Savannah, GA area. This role involves field work, submittals, RFIs, and cost tracking to support bridge and highway construction with a clear path to Senior Project Engineer.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in heavy civil highway/bridge/DOT projects, a civil engineering-related degree, and familiarity with Primavera P6 and MS Office. Relocation for a multiyear project is welcomed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project or field engineering on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Hands on with submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Bridge experience is a plus.
• DOT experience is a plus.
• Based in the Savannah area or ready to relocate for a multiyear project.

Responsibilities

• Run submittals and RFIs for your scope.
• Build quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay application backup.
• Track cost against budget and help with monthly cost reports.
• Help update the project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
• Work with DOT inspectors and design engineers on field issues.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
• Spend real time in the field on bridge and roadway work.
• Support the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent.
