Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC in the Savannah, GA area is seeking a Project Engineer for a major interstate widening with extensive bridge work. You will manage submittals, RFIs, takeoffs and cost tracking, while spending substantial time in the field on the project.

The role offers a clear path from Project Engineer to Senior Project Engineer, with coordination of DOT inspectors, designers, subcontractors and suppliers on a landmark highway project.

Formación

• 2+ years of project or field engineering on heavy civil highway, bridge or DOT projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Hands-on with submittals, RFIs, quantities and cost tracking.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Bridge experience is a plus.
• DOT experience (SCDOT, GDOT, etc.) is a plus.
• EIT is a plus.
• Based in Savannah area or willing to relocate for a multiyear project.

Responsabilidades

• Run submittals and RFIs for your scope.
• Build quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay applications backup.
• Track cost against budget and assist with monthly cost reports.
• Help update the project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
• Work with DOT inspectors and design engineers on field issues.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
• Spend real time in the field on bridge and roadway work.
• Support the Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent.
