• Education, training, and/or experience in engineering, a technical field, or another related area demonstrating competency in reviewing technical plans, drafting diagrams and reports, collecting data, and analyzing datasets for trends.

Responsibilities

• Document highway assets for location, condition, and layout for database entry.
• Assist with development of contract specifications and plans.
• Perform routine construction inspection to ensure projects meet plans and specifications and document contractor pay estimates.
• Assist with drafting simple culvert designs.
• Assist Region Engineer in generating drainage basin characteristics using tools like USGS stream stats and software.
