The Maine Department of Transportation in Augusta, ME is seeking a Maintenance & Operations specialist to document highway assets by location, condition, and layout for entry into the agency database. You will assist Region with developing contract specifications and plans, and perform routine construction inspections to ensure projects are built per plans and pay estimates.

• Education, training, or experience in engineering or a technical field showing ability to review plans and analyze data.
• Ability to collect data, draft diagrams and reports, and identify trends.

Responsabilidades

• Document highway assets for location, condition, and layout for database entry.
• Assist Region with developing contract specifications and plans.
• Perform routine construction inspections and document contractor pay estimates.
• Assist with drafting simple culvert designs.
• Assist in generating drainage basin characteristics using tools like USGS stream stats.
