Job summary

Westcliff University is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to manage regulatory compliance, accreditation, licensure, and related reporting across the university and affiliated institutions.

You will coordinate documentation, ensure timely submissions, and work with academic and administrative teams. Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Initiatives, you’ll help maintain readiness and ongoing compliance for reviews and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of higher education compliance, accreditation, or regulatory affairs experience.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate preparation, submission, and maintenance of reports and filings.
• Monitor deadlines and substantive changes for regulatory obligations.
• Collect and maintain records, evidence, and documentation.
• Assist with accreditation reviews, site visits, and audits.
• Collaborate with departments to gather data for regulatory initiatives.
• Track findings and improvements to support readiness and institutional effectiveness.
• Prepare materials for leadership and accrediting bodies.
• Maintain compliance calendars and repositories.
• Review policies to align with regulatory requirements.
