Medgar Evers College, part of the City University of New York, seeks a Finance Procurement Specialist to manage procurement across multiple funding sources in accordance with NYS and CUNY rules. You will draft procurement documents, coordinate bids, and provide training across MEC departments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience, with preferred knowledge of NYS procurement and CUNY processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field; procurement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of New York State procurement processes, State Finance Law, and procurement requirements.
• Knowledge of CUNY-specific procurement requirements and AI procurement policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional guidance to MEC departments regarding procurement requirements, methods, and regulations.
• Provide training to faculty and staff on procurement procedures and contract vehicles.
• Draft, review, and issue procurement documents including RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, and addenda.
• Coordinate solicitation activities including vendor communications and bid openings.
• Review vendor submissions for completeness, responsiveness, and compliance with requirements.
