Job summary

San Diego Community College District seeks a Financial Aid Systems Analyst to support ERP/SIS in the IT Applications Programming team. Responsibilities include analyzing financial aid data flows, coordinating with functional users, and ensuring system reliability within standard business hours.

The role requires strong SQL and reporting skills, experience with Oracle SFA or PeopleSoft, and ability to develop technical specifications, test plans, and training materials for end users.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years as a Technical/Systems/Business Analyst supporting Financial Aid within a higher education ERP/SIS environment.
• Strong SQL skills with joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data transformations.
• Experience with Oracle SFA and/or PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for Financial Aid systems.
• Develop detailed functional/technical specifications and test plans.
• Create and execute UAT and support defect resolution and user acceptance.
• Support project implementations and maintain project plans and status updates.
