Job summary

San Diego Community College District is seeking a Student System Support Technician in the Educational Services Division's District Student Services department, located at the District Admin Office. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM, with schedule adjustments as needed.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex files, generate reports, and understand financial aid processes in higher education.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communication skills are essential in a student services environment.
• Ability to multi-task, maintain accurate files, compute statistics, and prepare reports.
• Knowledge of financial aid processes in higher education settings is preferred.
• Interpret rules, laws, regulations, policies and procedures related to students.
• Use independent judgment and work with minimal direction.
• Develop organizational systems to meet schedules and timelines.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Colleague, or Banner.
