Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Higher Education Editorial and Learning Team member to craft impactful learning materials aligned with strategic goals. You will lead competitive intelligence, ideate content with experts, and maintain program documentation.

The role requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently. Power BI and CRM experience are a plus; 2+ years in related fields preferred.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI, CRM and AI tools a plus.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Experience collaborating across teams to advance shared goals.
• Minimum 2 years in a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive intelligence gathering and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Drive content ideation with authors, subject-matter experts, and partners based on market insights.
• Develop and maintain strategic documentation, content tracking, and an author talent database.
• Build and update competitive benchmarks to inform editorial strategy.
• Serve as key contact for customer-reported content issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
