Job summary

Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential seeks a policy-focused professional to manage program reviews and compliance monitoring for state scholarships and grants. You will coordinate reviews, ensure policy adherence, and support data security across the MiSSG system.

Responsibilities include engaging with postsecondary institutions, stakeholders, and executive offices, and recommending improvements in training and outreach materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major.
• Three years of professional experience, including one year at the experienced (P11) level in state service as described in the job specification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with programmatic policies for state scholarships and grants administered by MiLEAP Office of Higher Education.
• Conduct program reviews at colleges, universities, and training providers receiving scholarship or grant payments.
• Develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain the program review process and quality assurance monitoring.
• Communicate with postsecondary institutions, stakeholders, executive offices, and the Governor’s office on status, timelines, metrics, and outcomes.
