Job summary

CDW seeks a Senior Strategist to drive adoption of Gemini for Education and Google AI Pro for Education within Higher Education. You will lead executive-level pre-sales consultations, craft strategic AI roadmaps, and deliver compelling demonstrations for CIOs and CTOs across North America.

The role requires deep HiEd IT governance, enterprise infrastructure knowledge, and strong communication. Travel up to 50% and ongoing leadership in AI strategy and governance are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years experience in a Higher Education institution IT departments managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure, cloud services and/or strategic AI initiatives OR 9+ years of experience.
• Deep familiarity with HiEd enterprise IT systems including IAM (AD, SAML/SSO), governance, SIS and LMS in a university setting.
• Proven understanding of governance, security, and ethics in deploying LLMs and AI tools in a secure higher education environment.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills for CIO/CTO level discussions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver executive-level pre-sales consultations and in-person/virtual presentations for Gemini for Education and Google AI Pro for Education.
• Travel within North America for in-person training and executive presentations.
• Develop executive content and demonstrations for enterprise AI deployments in HiEd.
• Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT governance bodies and policymakers.
• Stay updated on Gemini for Education and Google AI Pro changes and education tech trends.

Education

Bachelor's degree / 5+ years in HiEd IT

9+ years experience in HI ed IT management
