The SEEK IT Academic Technology Coordinator at City College of New York reports to the SEEK Director and provides guidance to SEEK students, faculty, and staff in using instructional technology and related applications.

You will conduct workshops, prepare reports, assist with basic software issues, and support systems such as CUNYfirst, Microsoft 365, and virtual learning platforms while promoting cybersecurity awareness.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree required.
Prior experience in customer service, academic technology support, or higher education is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory tracking, device deployment, or refresh projects is desirable.
Knowledge of instructional software, databases, cybersecurity practices, MFA, and data protection is helpful.

Mansioni

Provide guidance to SEEK students, faculty, and staff in instructional technology and related applications.
Conduct workshops and training sessions on software platforms for students.
Prepare utilization and outcomes reports from databases to support program operations.
Assist users with basic software issues and refer complex problems to the IT department.
Support academic systems (CUNYfirst, campus portals, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, browsers, and LMS).
Promote cybersecurity awareness and safe technology practices.
Maintain inventory of departmental technology equipment and resources.
Prepare orders of IT equipment, supplies, and materials.
