Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-volume restaurant, drive profitability, and ensure top standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. You will work with leaders to set goals and create actionable plans, while coaching Department Managers to improve performance.

Ideal candidates bring GM experience with high-volume operations or a background in quick service, hospitality, or retail. Candidates must be 18 or older for corporate-owned settings.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations.
• A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail.
• You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.

Responsibilities

• The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for meeting McDonald’s customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.
• To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager leads Department Managers, provides coaching and direction.
• The General Manager may be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers.
