Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations, oversee staff, and drive a profitable environment aligned with company standards. You will manage costs, ensure policy compliance, and uphold food safety and service excellence across a high-volume restaurant.

The role requires 3–4 years of GM experience, strong English/Spanish communication, and the ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends. A liquor license background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of previous general manager experience.
• 2-4 years high volume bar/restaurant experience.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist store staff to maintain a profitable store environment.
• Manage costs and ensure policies, including employment and incident documentation, are followed.
• Ensure compliance with sanitary practices and local, state, and federal laws.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Supervise Assistant Managers, Kitchen Managers, and hourly staff; direct, coordinate, and evaluate these roles.
• Develop employees through feedback and performance expectations.
• Handle daily operations tasks including scheduling, planning, quality control, and customer relations.
• Establish security procedures and a safe environment to reduce risks and promptly complete incident reports.
