Job summary

CFS is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage bi-weekly payroll for about 1,800 employees in South Bend, IN. This role will serve as the primary payroll contact and ensure accurate, timely processing using Paylocity.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excel proficiency is required and training will be provided remotely.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience handling high-volume payroll workflows.
• Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of garnishments, payroll adjustments, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for ~1,800 employees.
• Review and audit timecards for accuracy and approval.
• Enter retroactive pay adjustments, bonuses, PTO payouts, and terminations.
• Coordinate payroll review with HR and Recruiting teams.
• Submit payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Manage garnishments and complete required documentation.
