PopStroke is hiring a Cook for our high-volume kitchen in Myrtle Beach. You will quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food according to our preparation and execution standards.

You’ll maintain cleanliness, manage inventory, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meals while upholding safety procedures. Weekend and holiday availability is required. This full-time, non-exempt role offers $18–$24 per hour and a culture focused on energy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous cook experience in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of cooking methods and safety practices.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food quickly and safely per established standards.
• Follow portion control procedures to minimize waste.
• Accurately utilize kitchen equipment to fulfill orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Assist with inventory management and stock levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follow all safety procedures and opening/closing tasks.
• Remove trash and maintain trash compactor area; perform other duties as assigned.
