PopStroke in Orlando is seeking a Kitchen Cook to join our high-energy team. You will prepare food quickly and safely, follow portion controls, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

The role requires weekend and holiday availability, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, non-exempt.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced environment where quality and guest satisfaction come first.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
• Prepare food quickly, safely, and efficiently following standards.
• Follow portion control procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Utilize technology to manage food ticket orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and notify shortages.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely meals.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep as needed.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Remove trash and operate trash compactor.
• Other duties as assigned.
