Dry Creek Rancheria is seeking a Cook for River Rock Casino in Geyserville, CA. This hourly, full- or part-time position requires safe food handling, quality preparation, and the ability to work across multiple kitchen stations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least two years on a line, basic knife skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A professional appearance and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is required.
• Minimum two (2) years cooking on a line for a medium to high volume restaurant.
• Possesses basic knife skills and ability to operate basic kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Commits to the Team R.O.C.K. Philosophy.
• Must present a professional appearance in uniform at all times.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality with respect to gaming enterprise business.
• Must be able to work competently in more than one station in at least one outlet.

Responsibilities

• Follows safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Ensures that all food served is prepared and meets set quality standards.
• Prepares and cooks foods for respective kitchen outlets including TDR according to proper procedures.
• Assists in completing hot and cold line functions as necessary.
• Ensures that all kitchen preparation is completed on a timely basis and follows established recipes.
• Works at a safe and efficient rate of speed in a fast-paced environment.
• Stores, labels, dates and rotates all foods (FIFO).
• Cleans and organizes workstation or stations and surrounding areas as necessary.
• Uses kitchen equipment as instructed to ensure safety and proper care of equipment.
