Job summary

Acorn Ridge Casino in Plymouth, CA, is seeking a Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen. The role pays $22.00 per hour and is a full-time, non-exempt position located at the on-site casino facility.

You will set up stations, follow recipes, maintain safety and quality, and assist with prep during high-volume periods. Applicants should have basic kitchen experience and be able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (casino or high-volume restaurant experience a plus).
• Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
• Assist with prep work such as chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service periods, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
• Comply with all casino policies, Tribal laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Supervisor or Executive Chef.
