Job summary

Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q in Mount Juliet, TN, seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead BOH operations, supervise shifts, ensure food quality, safety, sanitation, and consistent service standards across all meals.

You will coach and develop managers and team members, manage inventories and budgets, forecast labor costs, hire staff, and drive guest satisfaction while upholding company policies; opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 3–5 years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and motivational skills required.
• Ability to attract, train, develop and retain top team members.
• Strong guest service focus with ability to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Ability to define and attain financial goals for the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of dining room and kitchen systems; run effective shifts.
• Provide direction, coaching, training and development for managers and team members.
• Ensure consistent execution of systems, standards and cost controls.
• Communicate goals regularly to General Manager and Local Owner.
• Oversee BOH budgets, staffing, inventory and labor costs.
• Hire and develop staff; maintain staffing par levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; ensure guest satisfaction.
