Job summary

Nextgen Hospitality Solutions in Monterey Park, CA seeks an Executive Kitchen Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service dining room, running the back of house, building a strong team, and maintaining top food quality and costs.

You will oversee line shifts, hire and train cooks, control food cost, labor, inventory, and ensure health and safety standards, with real authority and a bonus potential for strong performance.

Qualifications

• Proven kitchen management in high-volume, full-service restaurants.
• Strong food cost, scheduling, and P&L basics.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen crew.
• Current food safety certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Run every shift on the line with calm leadership.
• Hire, train, and coach cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers.
• Manage food cost, labor, ordering, and inventory weekly.
• Enforce recipes, plating specs, and consistent food quality.
• Maintain health code, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.
