Job summary

CoreLife Eatery is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to keep a busy kitchen running smoothly with strong leadership and a relentless focus on cleanliness and sanitation. You will supervise and train kitchen staff, oversee line accuracy, and enforce safety and quality standards while delivering timely service to guests.

You should be prepared to cover the Kitchen Manager during peak volumes or requested time off, assisting across all kitchen areas and stepping in as needed to maintain high

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some culinary coursework or training.
• Experience in hospitality, food service or customer service preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and written communication required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to the kitchen staff.
• Help manage and train staff to ensure timely, courteous, efficient service.
• Enforce proper sanitation standards and keep areas clean and sanitary at all times.
• Support and cover the Kitchen Manager during high volume periods or time off.
• Step in across kitchen areas when necessary.
