Job summary

Obsolete Site in Honolulu, HI seeks a seasoned cook to handle full-range quantity cooking and baking. You will prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces and baked goods by following standardized recipes at varying levels of difficulty.

Responsibilities include coordinating steps so all items are ready together, maintaining quality and safety, and guiding lower graded personnel as needed. Strong English communication and 1 year related experience are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year work experience directly related to the duties described above.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Experience with professional kitchen appliances and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces, gravies and baked goods following recipes.
• Plan and coordinate steps to ensure all items are ready for serving simultaneously.
• Monitor quality and freshness; adjust recipes for servings and equipment size.
• Provide guidance to lower graded personnel and supervise cooks when needed.
