Job summary

Seaboard Foods seeks a Feed Mill Manager to oversee a high-volume feed manufacturing facility in Guymon, OK. You will lead production scheduling, safety, quality, and delivery, managing 9 hourly and 3 salaried staff to hit weekly output targets of 3,250 tons.

Responsibilities include budget forecasting, equipment upkeep, and ensuring EPA/FDA/OSHA compliance while developing staff and maintaining inventory. A strong background in feed operations and supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• 3+ year of relevant experience.
• Analytically minded and willing to learn new computer systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
• Bachelor’s degree in Feed Science or related from a four-year university or four of more years of experience in feed mill construction, maintenance and/or feed production; and five or more years of supervisory

Responsibilities

• Schedule the production and delivery of feed, including ingredients needed for production.
• Maintain inventory of parts, products, and purchasing of supplies.
• Meet production targets while maintaining the highest quality product.
• Adhere to all EPA, FDA, OSHA, DOT requirements, and company biosecurity policies and procedures.
• Interview, select, train, evaluate, and promote staff as needed.
• Monitor the upkeep and sanitation of property, equipment and vehicles, and repair or replace items as needed.
• Record keeping such as data collection and distribution of information.
• Forecast capital purchase cost in advance, budgeting for delivery and mill.
