Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) is seeking a proactive Corporate Recruiter to partner across Accounting & Finance, HR, Legal, Sales, Product Management, and more as AOI expands its U.S. operations from Sugar Land, TX.

The role requires managing heavy requisition loads in a fast-moving environment, building trust with hiring managers, and delivering timely, quality candidates through a rigorous sourcing and screening process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple functions.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Sourcing, and ATS.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate and business support roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Source and engage qualified candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networks.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates against role requirements.
• Guide interview process and provide timely feedback to teams.
• Extend offers and support compensation discussions with candidates.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hires.
• Keep accurate candidate and requisition records in the ATS.
• Monitor talent trends and advise hiring teams on market conditions.
• Foster a professional candidate experience and strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Support broader HR initiatives as needed.
