This is institutional cooking, not restaurant work. You will operate large-volume equipment safely, follow food safety and sanitation standards, keep stations clean, and communicate inventory needs to kitchen management to meet daily

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume institutional kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly and consistently.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Cook large-batch hot menu items following standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Prepare and pack hot food in hotel pans for senior centers that serve meals on site.
• Operate high-volume kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards.
• Keep workstations clean and organized.
• Tell kitchen management about inventory and supply needs.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production deadlines.
