Job summary

Feeding South Florida® is seeking a Production Cook for a full-time, on-site role in Boynton Beach, FL. You will prepare, cook, and portion meals following recipes and safety standards, while supporting meal distribution across our programs.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean kitchen, coordinating with staff to meet production targets, and assisting with inventory and event support when needed. High school diploma required; experience in production kitchens preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in production, institutional, or catering kitchen preferred.
• Experience with large-volume meal preparation and standardized recipes.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling in a commercial kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and portion meals according to established recipes and nutritional guidelines.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and proper food storage/labeling.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet production schedules and minimize waste.
• Assist with inventory checks and receiving deliveries; support special events as needed.
