Job summary

Charis Hearts is seeking an experienced Caregiver Recruiter to support Medicaid home care operations. This role emphasizes continuous, proactive caregiver recruitment to meet client referrals and coverage needs.

The recruiter will source candidates through multiple channels, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and maintain precise records. Collaboration with Service Coordinators and HR is essential to ensure timely onboarding and retention in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional recruiting experience or related coordination work with caregiver recruitment responsibilities.
• Experience screening applicants, conducting interviews, and managing follow-up with candidates.
• Strong documentation, organization, communication, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated reliability, initiative and ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to learn and use company-specific software and digital systems.
• Good general computer skills including email, documentation, data entry, and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous flow of applicants and build a ready pipeline of caregivers across service areas.
• Source candidates via Indeed, referrals, community outreach, and other channels; screen and interview.
• Prioritize recruitment around new member referrals, coverage needs, and geographic demand; communicate updates to leadership.
• Keep timely records of applicant contacts, screening results, interviews, and hiring status; track activity and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinators and HR to meet staffing needs and onboarding steps.
