Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York seeks an experienced bartender to prepare beverages for guests and venue servers, take orders, and deliver polished service that enhances the bar and dining experience.

You will interact with guests, teammates, and supervisors, present menus, suggest items, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining a clean bar and accurate cash handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartender experience or Tao Group Hospitality equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience.
• Experience in fine dining preferred.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and regions.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate guests' needs.
• Provide professional and exceptional service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and suggest items.
• Inform guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices.
• Enter all orders into the POS system accurately.
• Ensure the timely delivery of beverages and maintain bar cleanliness.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards.
