Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a part-time bartender to provide professional service in a high-volume venue in New York. You will prepare beverages, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction at the bar and lounge.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of bartender and 2 years of food and beverage experience, with strong knowledge of classic cocktails and wine varieties. Training includes Tao Group Hospitality in-venue bartender training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartender experience or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience required.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails required.
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for guests and venue servers; take orders and provide full bar service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and suggest items; inform guests of specials and prices.
• Enter all orders into the POS system and handle payments.
• Ensure delivery of food and beverages to guests at bar/lounge; maintain bar cleanliness.
• Follow safety, sanitation standards and work as a team member with staff.
