Job summary

Tao Group in New York is seeking a part-time bartender to prepare beverages, take orders, and deliver attentive service in a high‑volume setting.

You will present menus, suggest items, check allergies, enter orders in the POS, and maintain bar cleanliness and stock. This role requires at least 2 years of bartending and food & beverage experience, with professional hospitality standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartender experience or equivalent Tao Group Hospitality experience.
• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests.
• Provides professional and exceptional service.
• Presents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items.
• Inform guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices.
• Required to solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest.
• Accurately enter all orders into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment card procedures.
• Maintains bar and venue cleanliness and organization.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions and work as part of a team.
