Job summary

Andy Mohr Automotive Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a proactive Service Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle information, and report symptoms clearly. You will prepare labor and parts estimates and monitor progress throughout the day.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of service-advisory or related customer-service/sales experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience in a Service Advisory role preferred.
Customer service/sales experience acceptable.
Positive attitude and high-volume mentality.
Customer satisfaction focus.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Greeting customers promptly
Obtaining customer and vehicle information
Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
Determining and recommending needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Establish follow up time
Monitor the progress of each vehicle and update customers frequently
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed
Explain all completed work and charges to customers
