Job summary

Susquehanna International, based in Bala Cynwyd, PA, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our HQ. You will join a five-person AP team handling high-volume vendor invoices across the firm, collaborating with Accounting, Procurement, HR and IT, and with external vendors.

You will manage invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor data, while ensuring internal controls and timely responses to inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of accounts payable experience, ideally in high-volume environments.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing: Receive, review, and process vendor invoices with accurate coding and approvals.
• Payment runs: Prepare and run weekly payment batches, including ACH and checks.
• Corporate card records: Manage expense reports and maintain online storage.
• Controls and compliance: Enforce policies, approvals, and internal controls; perform duplicate-payment checks.
• Vendor records: Set up and maintain vendor master data securely.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries about payment status.
• Reconciliations and close: Conduct monthly bank and AP subledger reconciliations and assist month-end close.
• Audit support: Provide documentation for internal/external audits.
• Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
