Gillman Home Center in Batesville, IN is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume AP, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate processing of invoices. This full-time role requires meticulous data entry, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of AP/GL experience.
• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger systems and procedures.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to team members, customers and vendors.
• Perform routine accounting activities including account reconciliation and preparation of accounting reports and AP functions.
• Review invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Process vendor invoices; match invoices and enter into the system.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, sales and accounting teams and management.
• Assist with other projects and duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
