Arizona Public Service Co. seeks a Journeyman Lineman to work on new construction and to maintain overhead facilities. The projects involve voltages ranging from 69kV to 500kV and require climbing skills and distribution line experience.

Applicants must live within one hour of headquarters and hold a Class A CDL with DOT readiness. Overtime and occasional out-of-town assignments are part of the role, with potential relocation to the West Hub.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship or equivalent training plus 1 year as Journeyman Lineman.
• Class A CDL with ability to meet DOT requirements; permit allowed with conditions.
• Must live within 1 hour of headquarters.
• Experience on distribution lines 4kV–21kV and related equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Work on new construction projects and maintain overhead facilities.
• Operate across voltages from 69kV to 500kV.
• Be prepared for overtime and possible relocation to Hub West Service Center (38 miles west of Phoenix).
• Subject to out-of-town assignments and emergent calls.
• Complete post-offer, pre-placement DOT exam at APS designated provider.
