You’ll read blueprints, use hand tools, operate cranes and forklifts, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams. The position offers a stable, full‑time shift (3rd shift M-F) with a focus on safety, quality, and career growth within a leading transformer manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.
• Preferred: previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience.
• Preferred: experience with mechanical or electrical assembly.
• Preferred: experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes.
• Preferred: experience in heavy manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble internal and external transformer components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Install conduit, wiring, gauges, and other transformer accessories.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Operate overhead cranes to lift and position large components.
• Utilize forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
• Prepare units for testing, painting, and shipment.
• Perform contamination control and cleanliness procedures.
• Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure successful completion of products.
