Job summary
Aggreko, LLC is seeking a High Voltage Technician in Houston, TX. You will install, commission, and service electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and load banks, in field and service center settings while upholding safety and quality standards.
The role requires senior HV experience, the ability to travel domestically and internationally, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of high and/or medium voltage experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Refineries/government site protocols and requirements to enter and perform work.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally; passport preferred.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC Card.
Responsibilities
- Respond to major component failure escalations.
- Carry out major component changes and field repairs.
- Carry out advanced troubleshooting of electrical LV or HV systems.
- Provide hands on electrical support.
- Ensure major repairs are completed on time, to standard and within budgets.
- Read and work from drawings and specifications; use blueprints and schematics.
- Locate and repair defects in electrical systems.
