Job summary

Aggreko in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Electrical Services Technician 2. You’ll be based at the Bakersfield service center and travel up to 75% to support field operations.

The role focuses on LV/MV switchgear, breakers with relays, motor starters, VFDs, transformers, load banks and batteries, as well as wiring, grounding and inspection.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design.
• Positive, self-starter who enjoys collaborating in fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Based in Bakersfield service center with up to 75% travel to field sites.
• Work on low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFDs, transformers, load banks, and batteries.
• Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, inspect circuits, and connect wires to circuit breakers and transformers.
