Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year school pursuing a Bachelors or Associate's Technology degree in the preferred areas listed.
• Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Must have an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2027 or later.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical design drawings.
• Assist with infrared scans and basic instrument checkout and repair.
• Participate in high-voltage diagnostic testing and relay testing.
• Support functional testing of protection systems and control circuits.
• Shadow System Protection Technicians to gain insight into substation equipment and field operations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with mechanical and/or electrical equipment and control circuits.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid math, technical, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
