Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Power System Engineer to design, operate, and maintain electrical infrastructure for AI training campuses in Memphis, TN. You will own the Memphis campus power model, perform load flow and short-circuit studies, and ensure safety and reliability of high-voltage systems.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years in power systems; experience with ETAP, SKM, and MATLAB is preferred. On-site role with travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in power systems design, analysis, and studies.
• Experience with high-power, high-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the Memphis campus power system model: load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and stability studies.
• Create and maintain sitewide power budgets, monitoring, and metering for critical assets.
• Perform detailed power-system analyses and update models after commissioning.
• Support interconnection studies, relay settings, and Battery Storage sizing from the model.
• Develop standardized study cases for hall add, storage dispatch, islanding, and black start.
